Step-by-Step Procedure
Anesthesia
General anesthesia is administered, tailored to the child's age and weight.

A pediatric-sized flexible scope is passed through the natural urinary passage.

A laser fiber breaks the stone into small fragments.
20–30 minFragment Clearance
Fragments are cleared using a small basket or allowed to pass naturally.
